Best Essential Type C Hub for 2017:
MAKETECH’s Type C to USB 3.0 Adapter with a Gig Ethernet RJ45 Connection is a refreshing choice among the overpriced, overcrowded Multi-Port Adapter Hubs available for MacBook and other Type C Connection Laptops of late. MakeTech’s Hub consists of only 2 ports. And that is perfectly fine with me since these are the fastest, most reliable, most technologically advanced connections available and ALL I truly need: a USB 3.0 port and an ETHERNET RJ45 connection port. That’s it. I’m all set.

An adapter that includes multiple 2.0 USB Ports, HDMI / VGA ports and/or SD Card Slots is unnecessary. I don’t need to add extra peripherals to my streamlined, lightweight Mac that would be better served connected to another device. Besides, most of these 7 in 1 Multi Port Adapters are way overpriced!

I was delighted to see MakeTech’s Type C Adapter for only $17.99 on Amazon. It’s all aluminum, slim, low profile design compliments my laptop perfectly and the exclusion of any other ports keeps my workspace clean and organized. It provides the extra connections and backup I need. Plus, it’s technologically up to speed for at least a couple years!
I’m all about, Less is More lately and this hits the theme right on the head. Good deal MakeTech!
