My #wcw this week is Marcela Bovio. @marcelabovio is the lead singer of the progressive, symphonic metal band Stream of Passion, has her own solo project and has worked with MANY bands in the metal scene (Ayreon, ReVamp, Epica, MaYaN, The Gentle Storm and Computer Mind to name a few). It's a huge bummer knowing SoP is breaking up at the end of the year and I can't go to their one and only US show ever in a few months, but knowing that she's not leaving the metal scene and the music industry altogether is comforting. I can't wait for the day I see her perform. She is so beautiful and has such a GORGEOUS voice and I know I'll lose it when I finally get to get to hear her live. I've recently been listening to SoP's song Broken lately I'm OBSESSED. It's so good. It's powerful, beautiful and my favorite thing about it is that it's dramatic. You know me, the more dramatic a song is, the more I love it.
