Microsoft Windows 8 is to steal the show at Computex
The much awaited Windows 8 operating system from tech giant Microsoft is all set to steal the show at Asia's leading IT fair Computex that is opening in Taiwan on June 5, 2012. Thousands of visitors from all around the world are expected to be present during the show to catch a glimpse of the software and to know more about its features.
Computex, the annual tech trade show is going to be a five-days affair and showcase many tech products belonging to various brands and companies. Microsoft is yet to release the final copy of Windows 8, so customers and vendors are curious to know what more is going be offered with this upcoming operating system.
Speculation is at its peak and many rumors towards the product for long. Computex is the largest event before the launch of Windows 8 that is expected to be at the last lap of the year.
The show is important because the whole tech world is looking at the Windows 8 for its capabilities and features to counter the epitomic rise of Apple and mobile devices running on Android operating system from Google. Earlier, Microsoft chief executive Steve Ballmer says that “Windows 8 will support a wider range of devices including touch-and stylus-based smartphones and tablet PCs, as well as desktops and laptops.”
