Look, I don't have a universal bandaid solution for sport, and I'm very lucky to not really have ever cared because sport was always something I was forced to do.
There would be situations where I would think a cis v trans match-up is not fair or, worse dangerous. Because I have to remember there are contact sports out there and even ones where hitting each other is a goal. But the phobes see a single (potentially) unfair situation (I do not know the situation and only just understood it was a race) and just want to cancel the whole idea of trans women in sports, which is also not fair.
I have seen people say that there are certain situations that would not be fair to all involved, but the problem is that for the phobes ANY situation where there is ANY trans success is unfair to them.
They will point to a woman coming fifth in the world in Some Sport and say that she is a bIoLoGicAl MaLe and it isn't fair and she is beating all the feeeemales and it is like...OK...but all athletes have a biological advantage. That is why they are athletes, babes. They are not even number 1, stop stressing, your diva cup is going to migrate to your brain with the anxiety you are putting into this.
It is hard to know what they are complaining about might have ANY validity because they treat it all with absolutely the same feral energy and zeal. So I pretty much ignore them evenly, except every now and then I get to learn a trans athlete's name and pretend I'm a sports girly now because I'm pretty sure being a sports fan is knowing the athletes names?

I also have no idea why I get messages about trans people. What do they want me to do about it? Do they think I have access to like...what? Stop women they don't like competing in sports? That I can take a message to the Grand High Coven of Transes? What am I supposed to do with the frantic message that a woman who frequently loses skating tournaments to teenagers lost a skating tournament, but this time to a trans woman? I mean, other than laugh, of course.
This post is not for terfs. We tried arguing for years, we didn't change each other's minds, I don't seek you out, leave me alone.
