ECCC 2024 day 1 (Thursday) casual photos and blog.

We wore some EGL and enjoyed an easy going first day of con. Brought a packed lunch with some extra treats from Kiki's Bakery. My taro bun matched my coord and nails. 🤩

Did most our shopping this day.

Decompressed in the Tavern. I LOVE that the Washington Ren Faire folks were there. Always the best interactions! 😂 Amber got netted by Wotan the Fairy Smasher.

Baltimore comic con was so much fun thank you to everyone who came by and made it one of the best years so far -- it’s always nice to see everyone and you guys really make it all worth it – I love you all and thanks to all my amazing friends and followers who always support me <3 <3 < 3

ECCC day 3 (Saturday) casual photos!

The day started off rough with a lot of pain, but I powered through and got to the con eventually. We only took a few photos in the park before the hail started.

It was a bit of a "join our cult" vibes with the gray robes. 😆

We took a few selfies around the back escalators. Solved some first time wearing weirdness. This time we managed to get into the cool cosplay panel before it got full!

Dinner was very fancy with our non-cosplay friends.

We took one last swing through Summit and ran into cosplay friends.

Its becoming a tradition to get an end of day sleepy selfie with katiebee.cosplay and its always great to see phia.cos in Yasha!

MomoCon Friday Haul

After waking up at 5am and taking a surprisingly short flight to Atlanta and then becoming very familiar with the subway system and visiting the SCAD fashion museum, which I might post about later, my father and I found our long way to MomoCon!

I got a print of a mermaid that I’d seen on here before and loved 🥰 and a sassy little Hua Cheng 😏 both of which will be wonderful additions to my collection 🥳

In terms of trinkets~~ I got a hairpin, a butterfly, and a lost frog from the Apothecary Diaries meetup, plus a cupcake from a wandering trinket trader (who took my offering of a tiny crocheted skull for their own uwu). I handed out so many crocheted skulls to fellow Locked Tomb fans 💀 and flowers to whoever else I liked 🌸 I am unfortunately usually very socially isolated and today I interacted with more people than I have all year 😂😅

All in all, I had the most fun I’ve had in a long time despite how much f-ing pain I was in and am excited to sleep hard 😴 and get up early to see the Critical Role panel 😌

How much do you sell the maillesabers for? Those are the coolest things I've ever seen!

the ones I’m working on now are $125 and I can make them in 11 different colors (though that includes silver, black, and bronze which would be unusual blade colors lol) shipping is...I’d have to look that up but they have flat rate boxes I can use.

I’ve made one crossguard saber but I’m not happy with the design so I’m not ready to sell those yet. Dual-bladed (saberstaffs) are a possibility too ($225) but honestly I have no idea how shipping that would work so I have to limit those to at-show sales for now.

also, thank you! they definitely get lots of love at conventions and they might be my favorite thing I’ve ever designed. <3
