ECCC 2024 day 1 (Thursday) casual photos and blog.

We wore some EGL and enjoyed an easy going first day of con. Brought a packed lunch with some extra treats from Kiki's Bakery. My taro bun matched my coord and nails. 🤩

Did most our shopping this day.

Decompressed in the Tavern. I LOVE that the Washington Ren Faire folks were there. Always the best interactions! 😂 Amber got netted by Wotan the Fairy Smasher.

London Film and Comic Con (LFCC) DAY 1/3

It’s HUGE (by LFCC standards). At least four halls are open alongside the balcony. Two halls are used exclusively for autographs and photo shoots with the actors.

At least three if not four “rest spaces” are available.

Cosplay changing area is available and is two pop up gender neutral “rooms”.

Two water fountains are available for water bottle refill.

Five internal coffee shops plus one “Fish and Chips” style shop:

Cyprus Comic Con highlights!

Esmé and my soon-to-be-uploaded British Curses stickers sold out! I hope they’re as successful in Thought Bubble festival.

So many cool people and amazing art and new ideas! 

Con organiser was wearing my Roll Initiative shirt which made me so ridiculously happy.

Various queer people literally asking to hug me bc I was the only creator with explicitly queer themes. 

So much humming of the Jurassic Park theme it got ridiculous and I still love it. Awesome people are awesome.

I got. So much awesome art. I’m gonna decorate every inch of my new flat next month.

I’m probably missing like half of the nice moments but I’ve been working all day and I’ll just keep the rest for another time.
