Okay so warning this a rant about semi sexual harassment it’s just me bitching about getting talked to weird at a con and I feel like it needs to be said, COSPLAYERS ARE NOT THE CHARACTERS.

So I was in Verosika mayday yesterday at comic con which a lovely time aside from this one guy. He was in a black mask cosplay and he repeatedly approached me and my friends to say “Hi Verosika” in a kinda weird tone and I know there’s nothing wrong with saying hi however this happened around 4 times and my friends said he followed us out of a panel(???) one time he approached me while I was with my mother and he had shown off a loona print, one of the ones you can tell were done by someone who does nsfw work (nothing wrong with this get your bag) but he kept rubbing up on it weirdly on top of his whole “hey Verosika” thing and it totally rubbed me the wrong way. At one point he introduced himself as his character and said “it was lovely to meet you miss mayday” and held out his hand for me to shake it. To be fair I was really weirded out but I didn’t want things to escalate bc I was in heels I can’t get away in and honestly I didn’t have any proof to say that this guy was being weird and even talking about it without someone who was there it makes me feel creepy bc he was just saying hi

Because I see it making the rounds, please consider:

These events are expensive and some of the fans in attendance may have had to save up a while to make the finances work.

Most people find the question lines extremely nerve-wracking to begin with. Because not only are you asking the question of the actor, you’re asking it in front of the entire theater.

The questions are screened, in that there is someone asking you what your question is before you ask it. (There is, however, nothing stopping the fan from asking something different when they get to the microphone, save for the fact that the same question screener is there all day. I know I’d have a hard time giving the screener one question, asking a different one, and then getting back up in line at the next panel, but others might not.)

Yes, I think we all want to hear good, fun, respectful questions being asked. But please don’t police the questions fans choose to ask. It may be an “old” question but the fan who asks could have been waiting years for the opportunity to ask it. A lot of people in line already think their question is stupid/silly/not good. Let’s not put added pressure on our fellow fans and discourage them from giving themselves what could very well be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

I'm from Europe and I've never gone to a convention. I hope J2 keep doing them when the show ends because now I feel really bad and sad that maybe I never get to meet them. Especially Jared, I adore him 🥺♥️

Jared may be too busy with Walker to do SPN Cons.

i wonder if anyone brave enough to tell J2 at conventions that last season is suck 🙄 or ask jensen if he feels his character has become a joke (if he's also parrly responsible to dumb down dean because he thinks it is funny)? or ask their opinion on writing this season.. or if they feel the quality of the show has been decreasing over the years. i wonder if it's a appropriate questions to ask? lol

Nah, why ask legit questions, when they can ask about the funniest moment for the hundredth time? Or about the kids? Or when Jared split his pants? Or broke his hand?

Hi. A question. I read somewhere that jibcon was a tough time for both J2 because it was a sad anniversary and I was wondering why. I'm just new in the fandom and there's so much to discover with the conventions so yeah, a little lost.

I can only imagine what kind of fuckery dmitry will get into at the Cons when he no longer has a job and how quick Jensen will be to shut his ass DOWN when he starts his shit. That would be worth the price of a ticket to see. XD

Oh yes, when Jensen no longer has to be polite and nice, the shit will hit the fan. I just hope somebody is taping it.

Most of the time I understand why you don’t like something.I can’t understand why you dont like extras showing up at convention? They dont cost more for the attendees and it provides something to do between real events.

Three random one appearance actors appearing looking for attention. Seems like they had nothing else to do this weekend, so why not get a little extra money.
