Intro post!!

Hello everybody my name is Dusty and I’m 17! (Also he/him pronouns I tots did not forget to put here)

I made this account in order to involve myself in fandom spaces and post art

I’ll post art, writings and some cosplay content on here for most of the fandoms i enjoy which include the hellverse (duhh), bg3, fallout, bojack horseman, moral Orel and sally face. I enjoy learning about history, horror movies and the paranormal as well!

There’s something so uniquely terrifying about memory issues. I feel like my self is slipping away from me.

Here’s the thing I feel like a lot of folks don’t get: I’m not trying to forget what you said. Honestly, I really tried not to. I can’t control what I do and don’t remember—forgetting things just happens. It’s annoying for you, I know, but for me it’s distressing as hell and when you make a big deal out of it rather than just reminding me you make me feel ashamed. I’ll remember that, at least.

It costs you nothing to be kind to people with memory problems. Please. It’s scary enough without people treating memory lapses as a personal failing.

Maybe I'm completely insane looking for parallels in "Berserk" (I can't rule that out either), but the scene after the speech at Primrose Hall and the scene after Griffith and Guts' second duel seem very similar to me.

The stunned, lost look of the one (OMG, their eyes literally break something in me) + the cold, distant gaze of the other.

Then there's the shocked expression of the one + a distant figure looking in the opposite direction.

These are precisely the moments when everything fell apart. What unites these scenes? A BROKEN HEART. Rejection. Those moments when both thought "You don't need me, I mean nothing to you".

And they were both wrong.

Nothing is ever going to be as good as The Golden Age of Berserk so why do I watch or read anything ever....
