as i was driving onto the campus where i work, i had to slow my car because there was a turtle trying to walk down the road. i was like, i can't let this turtle get hit by a car!, so i parked and walked back and carefully picked up the turtle, who immediately pulled all its limbs and its head inside the shell. then i crossed the whole of the large parking lot to get to the ramp, where i set it down at the top because i didn't know how it would feel if i just launched it into the water while it was still so scared. and then i stood there waiting until i finally saw its little head poke up, notice that i was still there, and then scramble its little legs down the ramp and into the water. yay teamwork! #thomaslawrencemaxxing
