Is there a definitive source for that fastest characters thing?
No, but we do need to update it. ASAP.

For the Construction Zone, I have a few ideas of you could do for this section. From the classic era, you could cover games like Knuckles' Chaotix, Sonic R, Sonic the Fighters (I would have suggested the original Classics like the 16-bit Sonic 1 & 2 and Sonic CD but Taxman & Stealth already made improved versions of them. It would feel redundant); from the Dreamcast era you could cover Sonic Adventure 1 & 2; and from the modern era you could cover games like Sonic 06 and Sonic Lost World.
All good choices! Sonic 1 and 2 can still be improved upon, though, even slightly.
Also, Lost World is part of the Boom Era (2012 - 2019). Good looking out, though.

Any thoughts about Sonamy ?
Plenty, actually.

I think you should continue. I understand why you're upset about Classic Sonic just permeating the news so far - but I'm sure it's just a result of the fact that people have actually been able to play Sonic Mania, and have been able to give thoughts on how it functions, while we barely know anything about Project 2017. If Nostalgia sold, Sonic 4 would've been very well remembered as a new classic, not as a pale imitation of the original days.
You underestimate the power of the ‘90s, and nostalgia in general.
The Power Rangers are getting a new movie, VH1 Classic is becoming MTV Classic, TeenNick’s block “The Splat” is doing very well, JNCO jeans are back, Doom is back, Crash Bandicoot is getting remastered, Girl Meets World is in the middle of its third season…
I could go on and on if I looked hard enough.
People love the past and what they grew up with as kids, so much so that damn near everything else that comes after it (ESPECIALLY if it’s a reboot/remake of some sort) fails to measure up most of the time. Sonic 4 might not have done well overall, but it was nostalgia that got it made in the first place.
Again, I apologize for sounding so gloomy and negative, but I’m just lost right now. Thank you for suggesting that I continue with Project: Blue Future and Concept: “Mobius”, though. I appreciate it. I’m just not sure how to right now, or if people will care.

Do you have any headcannons on Rouge's younger life?
I haven’t thought of many at all since Rouge, whilst being a character who I think is very cool, doesn’t appeal to me in quite the same way as say, Sonic does. That said…
- I always had a headcanon that she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and was raised in a classy family with the ideals that she deserved nothing but the best. Hence her propensity for jewel-thievery since she lurves jewels.
- I also have the headcanon that she was well-educated. She’s clearly intelligent, has skills with computers and is highly literate as indicated by her report about Project Shadow here that was actually written by her - http://info.sonicretro.org/Sonic_Adventure_2_-_The_Truth_of_50_Years_Ago…

Do you like chao?
Yes. I think they were a cool side game to the main meat of the Adventure games and I personally spent many hours raising, breeding and reincarnating the little blighters. My favorite Chao type is the neutral-fly type because their coloration is cool and their wings are huge.
Should they return? I’m not fussed.
