This rendering is the result of Spencer asking himself the question, "what would the 1992 Lotus 108 world hour track bike look like today?" From simple sketch, to marker render, to full CAD model, the bike is as complete as I can make it alone. I have called it the Lotus 103 and I feel that it stays true to the original idea behind the Lotus 108 bike. It features a simple fixed drivetrain, but much more integrated components. The fork and handlebars are all one piece. Everything has been designed with aerodynamics and speed in mind. Swipe through for all the detail shots. I wish this bike was real and if there is anyone out there that would like to collaborate on a carbon fiber bike frame, I would love to add my expertise.
