I'm not goinf to be too specific of the situation but here's some of the possible dynamics for them :

Mad Scientist and Even Madder Assistant : possibly a Traffic au or whatever, with Zedaph being a Total Weirdo and Joel not just indulging him, but very much encouraging his antics and possibly immoral experiments because he 1. gets a kick out of it, 2. thinks it's hot

Godling and Random Guy : Joel as a growing God looking for worshippers, frustrated that the 'Hero' he's grown attached to seems completely unphased by his frankly amazing courting! Aka God Joel being an idiot at flirting, while Zedaph stays clueless about it (or has a lot of fun receiving gifts from this god and also frustrating him)

Nerd x Jock : expect the Nerd (Zedaph) is the popular one and Jock (Joel) is terribly asocial and cannot pick the cues that the cute and friendly nerd is not Just Being Friendly.

Awkward (aware of it) x Awkward (unaware of it) : aka put them in situations, where Joel is painfully aware of how nervous and awkward it is while Zedaph makes it unintentionally awkward-er.

Mackie casually walking out of the bathroom and dropping his towel

“ohhhh y/nnnnnnnnn………”

mackie had a brilliant idea that he saw from a video mark showed him at practice. he wanted to prank y/n with it as she just got home (and was on the phone)

“yeah babe just two minutes!!” she yelled back, and continuing the conversation she was having on the phone. hearing the footsteps grow closer — she couldn’t help but look up to see her hot hockey boyfriend in a towel — shirtless in front of her.

hair dripping, abs on display — she was in a trance.

“sorry gorgeous— I didn’t hear ya. what did you say?” he asked smirking at her as her breathing stopped…….. he dropped his towel on the floor, making her speechless.

“sorry j— got to go. emergency!!” she said quickly as mackie picked up the towel and started to walk away.

“MACKIE RAYMOND SAMOSKEVICH——“

“oh I got her gooooood”

Running into mackies arms after a long time apart

“mackie!”

his throat runs cold as he spins around to see you running to him from the locker room into the tunnel. dropping his stick off, he quickly puts on his blade covers to sprint toward you. he hasn’t seen you in person for two long months.

“hi gorgeous.”

he tells you smiling as he tackles into you. he is so happy that he could cry into you.

“mack, babe why are you crying?”

you ask softly as he breaks the hug to see you looking at him sadly.

“I’ve just missed you too much—“

Like what would everyone do if u gave mackie dissolving swim shorts?

you’d be laughing

mackie would be bright red, scowling at you and then all the guys— scrambling out of the water. probably planning his revenge

mark was ready so he videoed the whole thing (so he could show mack’s sisters that y/n successfully pranked him for once)

eddy, dylan & luke would be chilling in the hot tub, laughing their asses off during the chaos.

the older guys would be probably scattered or playing bball in the pool with mackie as the chaos started

Mackie taking care of you while ur sick or on ur period

he would for sure buy you an insane amount of snacks & soup

buy you flowers and chocolates to make you forget about the sickness or pain your in

cuddles cuddles (you call him the cuddle monster all the time & he lives up to it when you’re sick or on your period)

movies is a comfort to both of you, so he puts on one of your favorites as he just comforts you the whole day. he lets you sleep in his arms for a while and every few hours he gives you some more medicine. 🤍

Mackie not wanting you to leave

I just feel like mackie is the type to be SO MAD when you have to leave. like to the point that he just almost yells at you to go.

a whining like “babeeeee don’t leave me.” or a “fine— just go.”

he doesn’t want you to go, but he almost can’t handle being away from you that his emotions sometimes take over. so when he does that (and if you get annoyed or mad from it) he distracts himself with hockey; going to the rink to cool off and then apologize with flowers later.

he just loves you too much just to leave you.
