his aura was somewhat unsettling, DISTURBING. a chilling sensation went through her body, causing her to shiver, even though vampires couldn’t feel the heat or the cold. truly strange. ‘ it is VERY RUDE to creep up on a lady --- ’

Rock calm your little tits, he’s right y’know. You’d not be able to lay a hand on Death, he’d whoop your little ass if you tried.
A stranger to death.
“What is this place? I wanted to go to place that was empty, but I’ve never been here before..Just who summoned me here?” Her shoes pattered against the marble flooring, the walls decarted with pictures that she couldn’t quite make out what they were. Still, her curiosity got he best of her, pushing her forward just to see what, or who was waiting for her at the end of this long corridor. When approaching the door a small hesitation swept over her. Not because of the presence she felt on the other side, but because of who she thought it was. If this was a dumb prank caused by either her master or most believed would be humiliated in the worst ways later on as punishment.
@conceptualmortem
There was a presence about this one that seemed eerie. He couldn’t put his finger on it, but it was a little unsettling. Gai’s eyes gazed over the young man before him, deep in contemplation, before he noticed that hair..
❝ Your hair tells me that you are youthful and spirited, and that I approve of! ❞

she could feel the power from him, and if felt like it was much more powerful than what she could try to do to him, or any of the others trapped in her playground. but this was her place; she didn’t want someone coming in and ruining everything. she had someplace she could have fun and her mom was happy with all the kids around. she wouldn’t let this place change.

“Shoutout for @conceptualmortem! Kaddy is an amazing writer and such a meme. She put so much thought into the concept of death and having witnessed her development for over a year was a joy ride. She really brought the muse to life, pun intended. I look up to her!”
|| do you perhaps have any headcanons about how satsuki feels about mako? if yes, would you like to share them?
Oh, I may have. In fact I deem a potential friendship between these two to be one that harbors a LOT of potential (I would love to interact with a Mako ngl). Especially post-KLK / post- episode 22 that is. Since I still have to interact with a Mako, however I don’t really have that many headcanons in mind yet but rather some analysis based on their interactions during KLK.-- I will try to keep my ramblings short.
I. First & foremost; Mako & Satsuki actually did not truly interact much conversation-wise which I find interesting given the fact that Mako was usually in Ryuko’s proximity.. – it is save to say that Satsuki sees her as another subordinate / pawn (the Fight Club Arc proves that much) at first. After all, Kiryuin uses Mako’s closeness to Matoi as a tool to manipulate ‘vagabond’ into giving in / bowing to the rules of her system & the academy in general (perhaps also to prove Matoi that friendships/tight,personal bonds are inane & a flawed concept). To her, the Mankanshokus are but another set of tools who do exactly like she tells them to do (yielding to corruption via power, behaving like ‘pigs in human clothing’, etc). In earlier battles (especially in episode 3), Kiryuin was even close to simply killing Mako off since she dared to both, stand between her & Ryuko, & moreover interfere with her ‘lection’. – Mako is truly nothing but a vexing nuisance to her at first.
II. Ryuko’s rampage in episode 12 surely marks a certain turning point. Mako saves Matoi from being consumed by her kamui (Senketsu), aka takes a grave burden off Satsuki’s shoulders. She was ready to kill Ryuko in order to prevent worse things from happening but was then however disturbed by Mako. Due to this (& because of the fact that Mankanshoku managed to more or less impress Kiryuin by recognizing her own weaknesses & putting her affection towards Ryuko above her own good thus proving that something like ‘selflessness’ exists), Satsuki evolves a clandestine kind of respect. – in fact, she never once threatens Mako again after these episodes.
III. Mako’s entire personality is build up on irrationality & a ‘light your heart up’ / positive attitude. To the overly RATIONAL & analytical Satsuki, Mako herself stands for the paradox that is humanity. After realizing that she had been wrong & a fool throughout the earlier episodes of the series, it surely is Mako who proves that the world cannot be reduced down to black & white chess boards but that it is colorful, indeed worth saving & not as cruel as Ragyo made it out to be. Another important aspect is her closeness to Ryuko. Satsuki is aware of their tight bond & thus deems Mako as essential part of her sister’s life. This furthermore explains why both sit next to each other / eat together in the ‘last meal’ scene. – Mako manages to show Satsuki a certain kind of levity in the simplest way possible (let us never forget the moment in which Satsuki smiles because of Mako’s family).
IV. Now for light headcanons I thought about lately: I personally believe that Ryuko, Mako & Satsuki undertake some rather trivial activities together now & then (when Sats can spare the leisure that is; shopping tours, casual trips to restaurants or the cinema). Since Kiryuin wishes to spend more time with Ryuko to establish their sisterly bond, she willingly accepts Mako’s company whenever the latter decides to tag along (as mentioned above, she already realized that Mako is a vital part of sibling’s personal recovery process). I envision that Mankanshoku oftentimes manages to make her laugh &/or loosen up a little. -- in exchange, Satsuki would grant Mako the permission to drop the ‘-sama’.
As for more serious hc’s; it is no secret that Satsuki has a very prominent guilt complex which oft coerces her to feel obliged to make up for the ‘sins’ which the Kiryuin family has committed. Due to this, Satsuki will be adamant & mayhaps HELLBENT on paying Mankanshoku’s further education & the house in which her family will choose to reside in (after all it is Kiryuin’s fault that Honnouji/ their prior existance is no more). To her, it is the least thing she can do in their case.
