      ...Oh. Oh, this was very, very bad.

      His Superiors warned him an awful lot not to go near the Guardians, that there would be consequences. Sora understood why but whether or not he listened was another thing entirely. His friends meant the world to him, how could he just stop seeing them? Even a glimpse to know they were okay would be fine with him. That’s what should have happened.

      But instead he locked eyes with the last person he ever wanted to see him fall so low.       And his heart plummeted in his chest. 

      “I... Uh--”

        Maybe if he was lucky Sora could corridor out before anything transpired. He hated the idea of running away but that would be better than staying for a chat. If he stayed he wouldn’t have it in him to part later.

"riku!" the girl shouted as she walked up to him. "valentines day is coming up, and olette taught me ho to make chocolate, so i thought i'd bring you the very first batch i made." she held out a small back full of heart shaped mini chocolates. "thought now would be a better time than waiting and having them be all stale." she smiled. "so, happy valentines day, riku."

     as comical as the sight may have been, eyes widening at the sight of the fresh batch of chocolates ( they really did smell amazing, didn’t they? ) being presented to him. one that he was hesitant to take, as he wasn’t even sure he deserved such a thing. the expression of shock had been as genuine as could be, regardless of it all. it was such a kind act, as expected of kairi. she could almost always sense just when he needed to be distracted, or was in dire need of a smile etched onto his features. 

     “ kairi... “

     valentine’s day really was right around the corner, wasn’t it? how like him to let it slip past his mind as other things occupied it. he owed her something in return. for everything she had done... would continue to do for him.

     the embarrassment was quick to follow as soon as he opened his mouth ; his cheeks turning a rosy pink color, a hand lifting to make contact with his neck, rubbing at it as a pure force of habit. though he did make sure to leave his free hand open, not wasting a single second in accepting the gift his best friend had worked so hard to make. 

     for him, of all people.

     “ thanks.. let’s share them. “

((More official volunteers... although Kairi is too young, so Aqua will gladly nudge her towards Sora or Riku or someone instead, like a good big not-sister. :3c ))

        "Heh...that IS true too." he chuckled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. He wondered where that came from? But...it was still what his own heart was saying, what he had been feeling towards Kairi. He truly thought about her a lot, pretty much everyday. “Thanks, Kairi.. It’s...really what I’ve been thinkin’ lately.”

“You remind me..Of someone” Roxas paused, his blue eyes looking over the females body, a confused expression coming across his eyes and face, trying to find who exactly she was reminding him of --- But the only memory he could latch onto was that, the pair always shared ice-cream with each other up on the Clocktower. Roxas shook his head as nothing else was coming to him “....You must have that sort of face.”

"are you sure you're okay? do you need anything?"

“I’m…good…” Hiro panted, one hand on his knee and the other holding his weapon as he worked on catching his breath now. “Just…still haven’t gotten all my strength back yet..” He chuckled, what with having spent so much time in the Realm of Darkness. His strength wasn’t what it used to be, thus the reason why he wanted to train so much, courtesy of Yen Sid and all the friends who volunteered to help him, Kairi included. 

“Thanks for training with me again, Kairi…even though I probably slow you down.” He smirked, standing up once he felt his energy return. Master Yen Sid really knew how to create some challenging obstacles, but all the better for becoming stronger. “You breeze right through these.”
