Yay! Going to GenCon next week! And miracle of miracles, I edited my “geek flair” jacket with weeks to spare! I <3 collecting patches (mostly at DragonCon) but was starting to run out of room on my favorite cropped army surplus jacket. So I took most of them off the back and arms and curated the collection a bit. I mean, I like Firefly, but did I really need six different patches for one show? But now I have room to pick up more, as I continue to pick up fandoms, and extra patches to put on a very plain jansport I picked up this summer, and maybe new jackets as I make them :-) This was the pre-sewing pinning, and putting more on the back than the arms meant not having to hand-sew most of them. And the stitch-speed settings on my new (newish now?) machine were a big help too. Forgot to get a finished pic, will try to do that this weekend.
