Just caught the new R.L. Stine's Pumpkinhead on Tubi - For day 20 (im trying to catch up lol) of my 31 days of horror, its perfect Halloween viewing for the younger horror fans in your life! 🎃
This 2025 Tubi original nails the "gateway horror" vibe - genuine scares , a solid young cast, and enough creepy atmosphere to feel like a real horror movie without being too intense.
This film is actually "good" its fairly well written in that it isn't afraid of darker consequences and doesn't always wrap things up neatly - a refreshing approach for kids' horror that teaches young viewers that in scary stories, the monster doesn't always lose, making a it a cooler experience for young teens.

A Look at Goosebumps Slappyworld (Part 2)
A Look at Goosebumps SlappyWorld (Part 1) Hello, Spongey here. It’s time to finally end a saga. By that, I mean another Goosebumps series. In Part 1, I lined up what we’re doing here so you can visit that to hear all about SlappyWorld. Basically, it’s the follow up to Most Wanted where Slappy gets more stories because he sure needed more. At the time I didn’t know when the series end, but soon…

High School Pizza on Instagram is back with a new So Weird design!
You might recall last year's collection of So Weird, Eerie Indiana, Halloweentown, and select episodes of Are You Afraid of the Dark?
This year's release now includes Goosebumps.
They are each available in one color (black) and sizes range from Small to 6XL.
S - XL is $22
2XL is $24
3XL is $26
4 XL is $28
5 XL is $30
6 XL is $32
Shipping and taxes are calculated at checkout.
All designs are released, sold until interest wanes, and then pulled from the shop. They have re-introduced past designs but only if enough interest is shown/there's a special reason to do so.
These should be in the shop for a while (last year one of our podcast co-hosts received one in December!), but don't wait too long if you really love a design.

1990s Vintage Paperback Books (avail: Cali Vintage Finds on Etsy)
For a time, I had my own special effects makeup and props and puppet design studio in Hollywood, California. In these photos, you see some of the work I did for DreamWorks Interactive’s film production for the computer game R.L.Stine Escape From Horrorland. I created/sculpted several zombie makeups which were designed by an artist who’s name completely slips my mind right now, but, the funny thing is, it turns out that he and I attended the same high school in Southeastern Arizona in a small copper mining town and we took the same art classes together. How embarrassing. Anyway, he and I hadn’t seen each other since I left high school many years earlier and, one day, when he had been talking to the art director on this production, who also happened to be my best friend, when he heard my name which had been brought up because he was told that I would be using his designs to create all of the zombie makeups (prosthetics), he told my buddy that he needed to meet me because he felt that we knew each other, which we did, and it was a very cool reunion, because I remembered him as an extremely talented artist back in high school. I wish I could remember his name. Interestingly, I remember having a wonderful art teacher in middle school whose name was Mrs. Soles. She was SO cool, and she had a great sense of humor while also never taking any $hit from any students. Then, in high school, we had Mr. Turner who was also extremely cool. I think this little town churned out some really talented artists and performers and writers, as I recall that a young woman who I went to high school with in this same town became a best-selling author who write romance novels and does really, really well for herself.
