So the number one request for the next series of posts is sculpting! Slightly more difficult now since we are not able to build anything during this shut down. That being said we do have 35 years of photos to pull from and last year we did a pretty cool cave. We sculpt on two different ways. The main way is with panels as seen here. We cut these pieces to meet the design intent. Then we lath each panel together giving us our shape, with the intent to stitch these pieces together without noticing. The next step is seen here, our special polymesh design is made to be flexible and high impact. Once hardened we have no longer have to worry about the shape and we can concentrate on the texture and the carving. Which I'll post later this week.
