Anti-Aging Secret: Red Light Therapy || Dr. Steven Gundry
I find this recommendation confusing, Dr. Gary Linkov mentioned how these light therapy tighten skin bc it is causing scar tissue which contracts when it forms, so I wonder if this red light therapy is similar despite it's claims to reduce scar tissue..? He mentioned this is important for anyone considering plastic surgery down the road since scar tissue complicates the procedure, often making result less than desired.. probably bleeding issues much the same with brain aneurysm, which one of my neighbours informed me is the reason why ppl with multiple concussions, within short period of time, have to stay away from dangerous sports..according to her the scar tissue can rupture on severe impact.
Concussions and other traumatic brain injuries can cause inflammation and damage to brain tissue. As the brain heals, scar tissue (also known as glial scars) forms to repair the damaged areas.
Scar tissue formation can interfere with communication between brain cells, leading to cognitive and behavioral problems, as well as potentially increasing the risk of epilepsy.
Multiple concussions can lead to scar tissue formation in the brain, and while scar tissue itself isn't typically described as "rupturing," the changes associated with it and repeated head trauma can have serious long-term consequences, including conditions like Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE).
CTE is a neurodegenerative disease characterized by progressive brain damage, including scarring, protein buildup, and loss of brain cells. Symptoms include personality changes, memory problems, and mood swings.
Not sure why ppl still play American Football, after that movie with Will Smith demonstrating the long-term effects Concussion (2015 film). Interesting how DSG didn't mention sugar as a major culprit? Maybe our obvious love affair with dessert is the reason. lol
