I updated the RENEGADES + RENEGADES: Icarus themes to now include layouts for the most common aspect ratios of 16:9, 18.5:9, 19.5:9, 20:9 and tablet 16:10 or 8:5.

After watching the recent Picard episodes I noticed a similarity between the Confederation LCARS and Renegades (formerly Star Trek: Renegades - who were ironically forced to change "Federation" to "Confederation" after the Fan Film Guidelines)

Andrew Jarvis the creator of the Picard LCARS is friends with Scott Nakada the creator of the Renegades LCARS. Whether coincidental by great minds thinking alike or a tip-o-the-hat and nod to the "Confederation" the angled corner departure from curves inspired me to update my Renegades themes.

My library doesn’t have the first two books of Tanya Huff’s Confederation series, so for my birthday I treated myself to A Confederation of Valor (which has both of them).

Re-reading the beginning of Valor’s Choice almost 2 decades on is fukking devastating. (It wasn’t as bad when I used to re-read it to catch back up on the series, because I hadn’t had as much of a chance to let it slip out of my mind, so I didn’t experience it as much.)
