I suppose I can somewhat respect SNW retcon-racebending certain characters like Robert April and Chief Kyle to make the cast more diverse, but The Original Series already had diverse characters that they could have featured instead like Commodore Stone and Nancy Wong for those two examples. Plus, retcons are rarely going to be received positively by fans even if they’re being done with good intentions.

“The fact that Rainbow villainizes Diaspro in seasons 3-8 is so weird and for me, it shouldn't be canon- Diaspro was NEVER a villain, Sky just cheated her and Bloom, and in season 1 yet Rainbow made her still want Sky? I know that magical girl shows convince that the main characters (Bloom&Sky) are the best couples EVEN if it isn't the case, but come on.”

“I could not get around the theories that Gabriel was Hawkmoth during the 1st season because the observation tower looked like it was taller than the Agreste mansion and shots of the akuma flying out of the observation tower made it look like the tower was far away from the Agreste mansion since you can see the Eiffel tower in the background and the mansion is close to there. Also because how could Gabriel go up to his lair if he was Hawkmoth in 0.2 seconds. Turns out he travels through some hole in the ground (though how does he get way up there??). Now the question I have is, how much does Nathalie know about Gabriel, Hawkmoth, and the Miraculouses?”
