I hate how Picard season 3 made the Changelings look so realistic and fleshy. I don’t know enough about the history of CGI to know if they could’ve done that in the 90s, but even if they could, something tells me they wouldn’t have bc it’s just gross. The Changelings should’ve just continued looking like 90s CGI liquidy goo bc it was a bit campy yet charming and it didn’t take away from the seriousness of the show.

“TBH, Bloom x Valtor IS gross ( age gap, enemies etc.), but it kind of makes sense and is interesting story-wise. Just think about for a sec: Bloom and Valtor’s powers come from the dragon flame. What if somehow, their powers become attracted to each other, believing that their power WANTS them to be together? This could be a interesting story premise, Bloom and Valtor having some kind of feelings for each other, but knowing that it’s not going to happen because they are literal enemies, knowing that Bloom and Sky are a thing and WILL be a thing. 

I get that the pairing itself is problematic, but it means that it IS problematic, that doesn’t mean it’s not interesting storywise. Things don’t always have to be pure for you to enjoy it.”

“Alya and Nino getting the Fox and Turtle Miraculouses is NOT fanservice. Same goes for Chloe and the Bee Miraculous. Yeah, after seeing so much fan art before they were confirmed, it can sound like fanservice at first, but it's not. This show has been in the works for years. The writers came up with the ideas long before any of the fans did. The fans just caught on to the hints thrown in very quickly. Let's find out how and why this will happen before we get all up in arms about it.”
