“I so think people can be so biased and unfair though when it comes to Starlight and Sunset. They treat Starlight like a reverse Sunset. Just a thought of MLP becoming "The Starlight Glimmer show", people freak out and hate her even more, BUT just the thought of Equestria Girls being "The Sunset Shimmer show" then EVERYONE is ok with it and love her even more, even though the series is called Equestria GIRLS. Also, when Starlight DOES show to have flaws or to get development, it's NEVER enough and she's still a mary-sue or a bad character. However, when Sunset shows to have flaws or to get development, then people love her more and more. I mean, what else do people want from Starlight? Not everyone is going to be like Sunset Shimmer or have a redemption like hers.”

Still trying to understand the logic behind sidelining Will if he was gonna be a center character in s5. It is purely the worst writing choice i have ever seen. It makes nonsense bc it resulted in ppl seeing Will as a side character now ppl dont think it makes sense for him to be center bc of the writing mistakes the duffers have been doing for 2 seasons straight. The whole S5 has a potential to flop, they are so close to getting it.

Well, there definitely have been worse writing choices in the show I think lol. I will say that yes in season 1 and 2, Will was an incredibly important character. The storyline did incorporate him heavily. I don't really know why he was sidelined in season 3 and 4. He ultimately had no purpose in those seasons. But, he's always been connected to the Mind Flayer, so I think it actually makes perfect sense that he's going to become important again in season 5.
To be honest I can't see the last season flopping. To people on Tumblr/Twitter, sure. But to people worldwide, and to the general audience, I doubt many will consider it a flop. (Also because I am incredibly confident every character is going to end up happy with their stories coming full circle. And I think having all the main characters happy is what the general audience cares about the most. These are teenagers who have been through so much shit. They all deserve to be happy.) That's just my thought though!
