As Marinette had just been explaining to Alya over the phone before hanging up, she had intended on having a v e r y relaxed day. Having plenty of time to upgrade her collage of Adrien from the new magazine ads she’d collected. It was the best time, a knock at her door, however, disrupted her as she went to answer it to see, ADRIEN?! Panic set in as she awkwardly answered ❝ You, why!? I-I mean goodbye I MEAN Hi, Come in! ❞ Her heart was racing, she needed to stay focused, the first course of action was to keep him FAR AWAY from her room as possible. But she couldn’t think of a reason for them to be hanging around her kitchen. Lucky for her, speaking about her family was a much easier topic to speak on. ❝ Well, they usually work alone. Well not alone, alone, together. They work really well as a team, gets things done faster. This one time they finished three different wedding cakes, they were amazing and that was just in one day! ❞ a small smile spread on her lips thinking of the fond memory, of many similar memories watching her parents bake together, they were always so happy and in love when they worked on projects like that together. They were very fortunate to have a job they both loved so much. However, this thought was soon interrupted by his question, the heat rising to her cheeks from such a suggestion.

Tikki had eaten the last one after an attack in the park yesterday, it was all falling into place. Walking towards the counter, she reached for a pink book with the signature M on the spine, the book was clearly homemade, each page having a printed off photograph taped in place with Marinettes handwriting for all of the baking instructions and ingredients with some scratched out from trial and error. Placing it down she flipped a few pages in as she started to mumble a few recipes aloud. ❝ Let’s see, Snickerdoodles, Glazed Lemon Cookies, Ginger Bread Cookies, Double Chocolate Fudge Cookies, Classic Chocolate Chip... ❞
