Don't say:
"I'm suffering from burn out bc of my job" - weak, vague fire related metaphor, no one knows what emotion you're describing, now we're all thinking of camp fires which are a happy thing. People will just say "haha I'm burnt out too," and provide no support. You'll continue to be trapped by your corporate overlords and their use of language
Do say:
"My brain broke because of the horrors" - what are the horrors? People want to know. Now you have cool edgy mysterious vibe. Implies a serious injury, not just the vague miasma of corporate speak. Compatible with taking a long dramatic drag on a cigarette or swigging a bottle of whiskey
