What is it about the way Kara is holding her hands?

Well, it’s officially a Kryptonian meditation position! With her hands positioned like so and legs underneath her!

With the mantra’s inclusion of “Rao” this could also be akin to prayer-type position (though there are plenty of human mantras that invoke gods but are more about what it does internally than asking a higher power for help).

It just seems to be a little piece of Kryptonian culture, and I get excited about those.

As someone who reads all of DC's shitty output, is Supergirl Steve Orlando's worst DC work in your opinion?

I’m fairly certain this is a correct interpretation of the phenomenon or phenomena or whatever makes me sound smarter than I actually am. Especially since it pales in comparison to Being Supergirl.

Does this include the DC ones on the CW? Because I’;m still in that stage where they’re driving me nuts so I’m still constantly complaining about them so

no it’s shows I don’t watch. Samurai Jack is an example. Most anime would be another. There are other shows but I don’t want to open that can of worms because Tumblr is weirdly aggressive about it.

What did you think of the Batgirl Annual?

I liked it a lot! I think there’s a lot of cool potential for the stuff they set up in the Babs n’ Kara story, and I really liked the art in the second story.

I love Joss since the days of Buffy but he’s gone full Joss which is too much Joss and there’s nothing we can do about it.

I almost want to say we need him to be corralled by Jane Espensen and Marti Noxon as they were the driving force behind Buffy and Angel in their strongest seasons.
