I've been wondering if I should use the phrase "I'm proud of you" or even just terms like "good job" or "you did it" and adjectives like great/amazing/perfect etc to other people. Because yes I want to congratulate people on their accomplishments and feel good when they achieve things, especially if they feel like they didn't. But is this feeding into pride and giving them credit for something when God is the only one that deserves any credit and all glory?
