Connie has sunlight in her hair and a wilted peony in her heart. A fawn who doesn't yet know how much courage is curled up inside her. In the Cotswolds she finds freedom, memories, and wounds she doesn’t yet know she carries.

Hello lovely readers! 🌟
I owe you an apology: I planned to post the new chapter of the Conniemour story yesterday, but I’m still far from finishing! Life, as always, had other plans — the real world truly excels at derailing us, doesn’t it? 😅 But don’t worry, I’m working hard to bring it to you soon. ⏳
In the meantime, I thought I’d introduce you to two very special characters who hold an important place in Connie’s life: Mim and Doris. 💖
Mim is Connie’s aunt and a true mother figure to her. She might be a bit brusque at times, but that’s part of her charm. 💫 Unconventional out of necessity, she’s the one quietly pulling the strings in the background to support her loved ones. A brilliant cook and a skilled seamstress, Mim’s guidance is steady, unwavering, and always filled with love for her dear nieces.
Doris, on the other hand, is... well, Doris. 😆 She drinks too much, smokes too much, swears like one of Her Majesty’s Irish Fusiliers, and drives like a maniac (a skill honed during her days as an ambulance driver in the war). Beneath her rough exterior, though, she’s fiercely loyal, with a heart of gold that shines through her wild antics. 💛
