New sketchy refs for the main cast of my leviathan hunting story!! Which also has a brand new name: Across the Azure Eye!

I've done a lot of rewriting for this story recently after several years of it being in the backburner and I'm hoping to share more of it soon because I'm really happy with what I've got ^^

Involved with Charlie Weasley PART 4

Picking up from part 3 ...

You want all of him, and he thinks that if given time he could give you all of himself... but part of you thinks that maybe he never can develop those kinds of feelings. You love him but you love the idea of loving him more, the thought that you would both live together, have children, grow old together ... like everyone says you should. But at the same time you remember that that kind of life is only a fantasy, even for those who have it. 

What if a ‘normal’ life is too much to ask for, so few wizard families were truly happy...

Another thought crept into your mind, both of you were very driven by your work, you with magical creatures and Charlie with dragons. Even if you did have the ‘normal’ life would it really be ideal when both of you would be apart for long periods of time, and if you did have a child together would you have to give up your work? No you didnt want that and you couldnt ask Charlie to give up his work either.

Maybe this is exactly the type of relationship you both needed.

“Charlie if we are going to do this we need to be perfectly clear with one another, I need you to tell me when things are moving and when they shouldnt be.”

Charlie looked concerned, or maybe nervous, but he nodded. 

“I agree, I am new to all of this... I am not even sure where to begin...”

“Lets just take our time, now we both should get some sleep” You reach over him to grab your wand from the bedside table

“Can I stay with you?” He asks, his thumb drawing faint circles on your arm, he looks so tired and his red hair is sticking up on one side.

“Yes” And with a wave of your wand the lights went out.

I love the new refs for all your ocean pirate characters! I wanted to know if the size differences between Talas and Hade's leviathan forms are still the same or if they've changed? Also how big is Graves compared to them? no particular reason why i want to know... 👀

Here's their relative sizes to each other!

I actually made the size difference less exaggerated than before so fitting them all in a situation isn't hellish x)

Of course, the sizes don't have to be super accurate, I will likely exaggerate them depending on the situation if it calls for it!!

tell us about hades' crew on the burning moon!!

Gobi is the lookout and is an interesting little freak, usually saying completely off the rocker remarks which may be true or false but always confusing, the only thing they know for certain about him is he has a big family (and theyre all named Gobi). He talks in the third person, and is constantly running around both doing his job and being a pest. He interacts with Connon the most bc of their jobs but loves bothering everyone equally and his small size is perfect for perching on the taller guys shoulders like the worlds most annoying parrot (Talas and Caval). Talas has tried to eat him more than once on account of the annoyance but Gobi has the strongest plot armor known to man: absurdist comedy relief.

Connon is the helmsman, she's in charge of steering the ship and is thus usually yelling back and forth with Gobi from their reapective posts. She's a little gloomy in her mannerisms but deeply unhinged if pressed and talented with a flintlock so Watch Out. She also has a Rah (a type of raptorial sea bird) named Wretch who is constantly by her side and is trained to hone in on other ships like a hound or Connon herself if they lose her (something which happens often enough due to [REDACTED]). Shes also a really good engine repairman and general maintenance person, is very interested in anything mechanical of that sort, which is why she's constantly covered in grease.

Caval is the deckhand, she's the newest member of the crew (before Talas and Graves join) and she's a bit of a himbo (gender neutral) <3 shes also the only one who can cook anything that isnt "burnt rocks" out of the whole gang, and is usually the one to begin singing shanties whenever theyre sailing. Her and Graves get along very well because they both have sea creature autism. She also really really loves surfing and always has her board on the ship just in case she can shred some sick waves.

And last but not least, Hades, the Captain. A ruthless pirate outlaw who gives the Red Armada nightmares, he has a leviathan form that resembles a Naga and can spit chemical flames (a type of reaction that cant be stopped by water). He's a real menace and kind of a dick in general but is beloved by his crew <3 he has an interest in ocean legends and is formally trained in naval warfare. He also clashes very much with Talas in general even after they start kissing about it.
