It kills me that before going to Elysium, Lee wonders if his dad will even notice he's gone. Because. Lee. Lee. Your dad loves you. To a fanatically obsessed degree. Yes, he will fucking notice. And then devote the rest of his life to getting you back.

I'm having cuteness aggression because I cannot get over Kayleigh McKnight's performance as Mascot 3000. It's not just that she has a cute voice, it's also the character performance, and the contrast between Mascot's spoken dialogue (robotic, as you'd expect from an Atompunk era AI) vs her singing voice.

And there's something so tragic about how in the recap song she's so enthusiastic about their adventure when what's really going on is... really, very horrible and both Mascot and Rachel are being sacrificed by Connor to rescue the favorite child that Connor (unintentionally) endangered. But to Mascot it's the grand adventure she's always dreamt of so the music swells like it's the intro to an old sci-fi show.

And for both tracks, of course, kudos to Oliver Marsh as Connor. Voice smooth as butter.

Actually you know what? Even if Mascot doesn't have any lines in it I'm putting Connor's song here too, since it is Mascot's origin story

I'm on tumblr straight up posting it. And by "it", haha let's just say, another one of my silly thoughts

So we know Connor Morgan (now-a-frog edition) survived many destroyed timelines. What if, instead of simply redoing everything from scratch he actually did kidnap Lee and escaped with him. He'd end up in a new timeliness and live happily until he thinks of the new Lee in this world, and he wants to save him to so he does the same thing slightly to the left as he does in canon.

Now come 'our' timeline, he Kevin and Abi one, and he's some sort of reverse batman with an entire gaggle of Lees from every world he managed to nab one from.

Don't really know where to take it from there though. Obviously he can't get his Lee this time because this universe needs to exist, but he clearly wouldn't just give up. Would he still get caught? Would the Lees try and help him? Imagine Kevin and Abi walking on the street seeing a boy that looks at them a little suspiciously, then a nearly identical one sitting at a cafe a few building over leering at them too etc. etc.

Anyways that's "it", hope you enjoyed another glimpse into my many thoughts
