the thing is that just because you don't like the way connor and willa got together, or even why they're still together now, doesn't mean their relationship is actually bad or wrong or toxic. they've both been very upfront about what their motivations are and they've also given each other the space to be honest about it. the fact that their relationship isn't built on rainbows and butterflies and love doesn't automatically make it bad. it's a business arrangement that they've both entered into willingly. connor wants companionship and affection and he's willing to pay for it. willa wants money and she's willing to offer companionship and affection in exchange for it. and honestly? that's fine, most especially because either one of them can walk away if they decide the arrangement is no longer working for them. i'm not sure if i actually think their relationship is healthy because i've never really given it much thought, but the mere fact that he is paying her for a service that she continually makes the choice to provide is not in and of itself bad and it's weird that people keep acting like it's the end of the world that connor and willa are currently the most functional pairing. why wouldn't they be? they're the only ones who have been continually honest and upfront about what they're doing.
I really love how Willa & Connor's relationship heavily contrasts the others in comparison.
We've seen them defend one another before (Shiv's wedding, Kendall's birthday) but this was IT for me. I still remember how people like the Roy's consider sex workers, kitchen staff, Valet, etc. to be not "real" people, or NRPI.
So because Willa still stuck with and then married Connor despite his MANY faults past, present, and future, and especially on a emotionally heavy day; I can imagine how that could get under the skin of the other siblings, but specifically Roman in this last episode. The ambiguity of their relationship felt shattered in the best way possible in this particular episode.
His antics, for once, might be catching up to him and this time it's without the quick resolution and verbal or physical punishment from Logan.
After Gerri justifiably threatening to blackmail him, I'm sure he was livid at the one sibling, who constantly gets the Meg Griffin treatment, had someone at their side to keep from choosing to make themselves more of a fool than they already have. None of the rest of the Roy's can say they have someone who genuinely has some faith in them.

Shiv becomes a co-host of The View
Tom and Greg organize a heist to steal Kendall’s mixtape, culminating in Tom leaking it via ATN.
In the final scene, it is revealed that Greg has become a mouse and can only be returned to normal with true love’s kiss.
Willa is. So precious to me. Connor genuinely loves her and she wants to make him happy because despite everything I think they might be best friends? I don’t think Willa loves Connor like he loves her, but I do think Connor is her best friend, and I think that is worth way more than any single other relationship on this show.
