What do you think about Fear the Walking Dead?

I think it’s interesting, though not nearly as good as The Walking Dead.  I am really looking forward to this series finale though because it looks like we’re finally going to see a scary amount of walkers :D 

I didn’t get why they called the show “Fear” the Walking Dead when I first started watching it, but I get it now….  For this show, it’s literally more about the fears of these characters, who have no idea what the hell happened and what’s going to happen.  While they’ve seen a few walkers, they’ve been shielded from most of it so far, so most of what they are living through is just fear of getting sick, fear of things not getting back to normal, fear of the dead that are walking around…and they are starting to fear their fellow humans too…because like TWD, people are taking advantage of the situation.  So it’s more about the fear of the whole situation.  I would imagine it’s what it would have been like for those who lived in Alexandria since the beginning and go out occasionally instead of living out there like Rick and the group have been doing.  It is a bit annoying for me already knowing how to kill walkers and how to be careful not leave doors open, etc….and they have no clue…and stupid stuff happens because of their stupid mistakes.

There’s a lot of parallels between FTWD and TWD, and I am looking forward to seeing how they tie FTWD into TWD in season 6 :)  

I hope that answered your question haha.  I like it, and I’ll keep watching it because I’m hoping for answers to questions that we never got answers to in TWD - like what exactly caused this all to happen - and just knowledge for what it was like for people other than those we’ve seen on the east cost of the US.

I was tagged by mainmanandy to do the “15 Things That Make You Happy” tag. I could definitely use to focus on some happy and it usually is the little things that make me happy so here goes!

1. My critters, my array of rescues run from cats and dogs, chinchillas, reptiles and my beloved fish! and as much constant work as they are I can't imagine my life without happy ridiculous animals in it.

2. Coffee. there are few pleasures in life as good as a nicely brewed coffee, hot, cold blended treats I love it all

3. The fall in the pacific northwest, crisp nights, foggy mornings, the sound of raindrops in the leaves, the rich earthy smell of wet soil and saltwater, pumpkin spice flavored everything in the cafes. It's a special magic all it's own

4. The walking Dead and a few other shows that are so beautifully written and acted that I can let myself be absorbed into their world and distracted from my own

5. Music, all kinds depending on mood but I just need music whenever I can have it

6. Norman Reedus. that is all

7. A pile of blankets fresh out of the wash and time to nest and enjoy their comfort

8. The ocean. It's sound, it's smell, it's endless supply of wondrous creatures. the way it settles my soul to be near it

I work with sharks and care for baby stingrays and have held a rockfish that will probably live another 100 years in my hands while it had surgery, and all of this on the same grounds where red wolves, clouded leopards and Sumatran tigers are happily living and reproducing and helping to bring their species back from the brink of extinction and that's all a pretty big happy deal for me.

Do you have any idea whether or not Iorveth is gonna be in the Witcher 3?

Sadly, no. While Vernon Roche has been confirmed (4:40) to return in W3, no word of Iorveth… yet.

Do you happen to know if they said how Iorveth got his scar in the game? I think I read somewhere that he got it from the Spear of Destiny or something like that, but I don't remember it ever being talked about in the game.

Quite right! :D  If you play Roche’s path in chapter 2 and speak with the relic peddler in the Kaedweni camp during the Blood Curse quest, he will inform you that ”the spear was supposed to kill some Scoia’tael big shot [guess who :D] who survived and is ‘with that vixen from Aedirn’ [Saskia]”. He also mentions that “the shaft cracked as if there’d been some fucking jousting tournament”.Iorveth keeps the spear head (some strange lucky charm, maybe?), and you have to get to Vergen to retrieve it. In Vergen, Saskia informs you that Iorveth has since lost the spearhead in dice poker against Skalen Burdon (you have to win a poker game against Skalen to get it).Speaking of Iorveth’s scar, here’s the 3d-render (no texture):
