A few hours later, Nobunaga shamefully unpacks his suitcase, revealing, among other things, a very happy Ranmaru inside. Nō just sits there and laughs at him.

The thing with (Conquest) Nobunaga is that his scary aura and overly serious/dramatic/intense demeanor not only overshadows the fact that he's not really a villain but also that he's so. Fucking. Weird.

I mean. I MEAN. This guy just walks around and dramatically poses in his badass black armor while wearing a dead serious, emotionally constipated expression on his face most of the time. He talks about himself in the third person occasionally and always like he's writing his own dialogue in some kind of tragic epic. Not even his sister and closest ally (Oichi and Ranmaru) are safe from this. He's always at 150% intensity and chasing some grand goals which he vagueposts about and it's all he ever talks about in general
