The combination of art and architecture in the interior design gives the space a sophisticated look. Proving that luxury is not just about maximizing space. I'm contemplating the value of negative spaces and circulation in real estate development. What makes a space profitable?
Some architectural interiors fuse the power of art and negative spaces to create a luxurious atmosphere. What are your thoughts on how these design elements can increase the value and appeal of commercial real estate? Can art and negative spaces shape the viability of commercial properties?

China Blue by Jereme Leung is Now Open Again For Diners at Conrad Manila
Conrad Manila’s award-winning restaurant, China Blue by Jereme Leung, invites diners to discover a modern interpretation of authentic Chinese cuisine well-curated by celebrity Master Chef Jereme Leung and Executive Chinese Chef Eng Yew Khor. It’s been months since the hotel and its restaurants had to close down due to the global pandemic, but with the easing of the community quarantine, I’m happy to see that China Blue is now open again for its dine-in guests.
I do miss eating out at my favorite hotels and restaurants, but I’m hoping that with all the stringent health and safety measures in place to ensure the well-being of all diners, it will be safe once again to go back to our usual dining spots. Conrad Manila makes sure to observe proper food hygiene and safety. A Hygiene and Services Manager ensures that each dish is prepared in compliance with the highest global and Hilton standards, with team members undergoing daily health checks and observing proper hygiene practices at all times. This includes social distancing practices, acrylic table barriers and a digital a la carte menu which can be viewed by scanning a QR code for contactless ordering, among other best practices.
I’m curious to see how the restaurant looks like in the new normal, but I’m even more excited to taste their signature creations once again (Read: Modern Chinese Cuisine at Conrad Manila’s China Blue by Jereme Leung). Patrons can look forward to enjoying their delectable favorites such as Steamed House Specialty Truffle Mushroom Buns, Wagyu beef cheeks and tendons with radish hot pot, Homemade spinach tofu, and spicy eggplant in minced chicken sauce, among others.
Delight on exceptional treats like Braised Bird’s Nest Soup with superior crab roe, Deep-Fried Crab Claw coated with shrimp paste and salted egg taoso, Deep-Fried Lobster with Yuzu Dressing, mango salsa and tropical fruit, and Goose Liver Mousse cherries squid ink crumble.
I always make sure to order the Crispy Fried Shrimp with Wasabi and Mango Salsa whenever I visit China Blue by Jereme Leung which combines the simple Chinese fried shrimp with the Japanese wasabi.
China Blue gives us not just one but two versions of the sweet and sour pork in one dish. The Rose Apple and Pork Duo of Sweet Sour and Spicy Sauce has a regular sweet and sour variant and another spicier version placed on a separate round plate.
Some more of my favorites include the Wok Fried Beef Tenderloin Cubes with Asparagus and Hunan Peppers and their House-Specialty Black Gold Egg Custard Buns (P240). China Blue by Jereme Leung is open daily for lunch from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm and for dinner from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Hopefully I can visit them soon and reconnect with these Cantonese specialties once again.
