1. Which is worse, half your otp dying, or half your otp leaving? Dying because oh shit the thought makes my chest hurt and then they can never ever be together ever ever ever again and owwwwww.
2. Favorite song? uhm...uhm...uhm...OH GOD THE PRESSURE! uhm... I guess if I had to pick one? man i don't even know. I like to sing You and I by Lady Gaga, It's Time by Imagine Dragons is sort of what I feel like I'm going through right now in my life and stuff. And I guess of all time would be I'm Yours by Jason Mraz. I just always like it, it's a fun song you know?
3. Favorite movie? so many! god I'm awful at this. Meet The Robinson's because I ALWAYS CRY. Catch Me If You Can because amazing. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz because reasons. The Shining because I've seen it like seven times and still don't get it and it's a mind fuck and fantastic and scary.
4. What is your crush like? if we're talking about serious crushes like you stand a chance with them, then nonexistant. sort of still trying to move on from someone else. (I'm done with the other guy but I don't really remember what it's like when you start talking to someone new and haven't felt the excitement of a crush since then) but if we're talking some cute guy that you don't talk to much and stuff, well he's cute. funny. just always makes me laugh and I think he might like me but he always hooks up with skinny bitches at parties and I am not a skinny bitch so I don't excctly think I'm his type. Also the second I decide that I like I guy, I can't talk to him ever ever ever again. I am like --something that can't talk.
5. Would you ever date someone you met online? I don't think that we could be miles and miles away. Like if I met them online and they lived near me then maybe, but it'd be way too difficult to do long distance. I focus a lot on chemistry when I'm with them and I can't feel that if they're forever away.
6. What age do you want to be married by? If I had it my way, I'd be married now, over and done with the whole thing, just married, maybe a kid on the way with the suburban house and the white picket fence.
7. Favorite book? another asshole question. Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, maybe? Obviously Harry Potter is pretty fantastic. My dad and I read the series together aloud and we did voices for the characters and stuff. Also the Wonderful Wizard of Oz because of family reasons, also because my dad and I started the reading aloud thing with this book and that was before he turned into an asshole and when he still wished I was a boy so he could have a son.
8. Favorite creature? mah dick.
9. What do you want to be when you grow up? if i could be anything ever. I'd either want to be a teacher or a director/screenwriter/actress/cinematographer/editor thing. like all of them. I really want to impact people's lives with what I do, and I feel that I can do that on a major level with the director/etc and on a more minor level as a high school teacher. I feel that I don't impact people's lives at all right now and don't really feel of importance to anyone, so having that would be sort of huge for me. funny, because I'm studying to be an engineer right now, which has nothing to do with any of that. irony
10. For or against gay marriage and why? for because I have gay friends and I want them to be happy. It's just a basic right to love whoever and whatever the fuck you want so just do you and do what makes you happy and then everything's cool. i really hate discussing politics though.
11. What makes you the most disgusted? I'm gonna take this as things that make me uncomfortable because i can't think of anything that disgusts me right now (plus it's pretty difficult to disgust me). so I guess when I see people judging other people. Even though I sometimes judge people, when you see it happen it just sort of gets you right in the heart and you just think, there is so much more to them. I'm completely hypocritical though because I judge people all the time, which I guess makes for some awkward me time.
12. Your first memory? i honestly have no idea. a lot of what I know about my childhood is from family videos. I think it would have to be when I was two or three years old on Christmas Morning. I was in my barbie nightgown and my parents brought my sister and I into the living room and there was this huge thing in the middle of the room and just covered in the afghans that my great-grandmother crocheted and they were brown and dark green and mismatched and i remember being so scared and frightened by the big blanketed blob and then ti turned out it was one of those little yellow playhouses, but I was so scared!
13. Favourite musical? Grease! It was my favorite since I was like two. For my third birthday, my grandparents got me the 50th anniversary of it on VHS (maybe that was my first memory? gah who knows). and my favorite part was during Summer Nights when John Travolta sang "and she got friendly down in the sa-a-and" and the T-birds all squatted while pointing down and it was so much fun! but then i figured out what it meant :)
14. One thing that you really like about yourself? I really like me laugh. It's souper loud and souper obnoxious and so repetitive, and a lot of people think it's annoying and I'm sort of sensitive about it when people make fun of it but it's my laugh and all my friends know it. and if you don't like my laugh and make fun of me for it (like actual hurtful mocking, not playful teasing) then we're not friends. not by my choice all the time, but I actually have lost friends that got annoyed by my laugh and then the friendship spiraled from there and now I have different friends that like my laugh so THERE.
15. One thing that you dislike about yourself? my lack of will power and self respect.
16. Favourite take out? i have a game called The Pizza and Cheesesteak game. If you're eating pizza and a cheesesteak then you win. Bonus points for cheese fries/ mozzarella sticks/ pierogies/ wings/ french fries/ bacon cheese fries/ and root beer.
17. Last thing you read? A book for class, The Daodejing of Laozi. It's very insightful, but I'm not sure I believe in the Dao's views on how to live life.
18. Favourite scent? Lavender or Rose. Lavender is so calming and reminds me of when I went on a cruise and whenever you walked by the spa, you would smell it and it would just feel amazing. And Rose (aside from the fact that my middle name is rose) it makes me think of my granmother who always called me Jackie Rose or Jackie-O (after Jackie Onassis) and on my last day with her we went to the rose garden where she got her wedding pictures taken and it was beautiful and smelled like roses and it was lovely.
19. Silver or Gold? The metal? gold because my skin is allergic to silver and anything less than 14K gold (makes me seem pretentious I know) the symbol and metaphor? silver because i know what it's like so be second best and to feel like you're not good enough and silver is just as great as gold and someone's second best can be so many other people's best and being second is ok because it means you tried and I JUST HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS OK?
20. Country you would love to live in? Canada. Sometimes I feel like I belong there even though i prefer the warmth. Also Greece seems pretty cool.
21. Favourite Quote? The first one that came to mind was that Dr. Seuss quote "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." And I also thought of "What are you going to do with your one wild and precious life." And one i heard recently that sort of stuck with me was "No one looks back on their life and remembers the nights they got plenty of sleep." Also for some reason this definition that a woman performing a study on my mosaics class told me, "A metaphor is an equation using the verb to be." For some reason that stuck with me and then she went on to make an example and said, "My love is a rose. My love is a red rose. My love is a thorny red rose." And that actually inspired me to write a poem, something I haven't done in years. Sorry guys, I'm indecisive.
22. One thing that you would change about the world if you had the power to? I'm not some hippy, but for there to be more love. I feel like love is such a rare thing anymore, and I don't mean sexual love, but just love. love of art, a feeling, a time, a place, a song, a sound, a friend, a child, an animal, a book, a word, a stretch, a burn, a future, a past, just anything. just more love and even just that thought is making me tear up.
