I had to copy and paste to answer your ask, I hope you don’t mind. Since you are Anon I couldn’t reply privately, and you had some major spoilers in the question, so I just left that part out so I could post it for you to see.

I actually had to go back to the fic to refresh my memory, but remembered Robb was 26 Sansa 23 when that thing happened, and the time from then to the time  of that other thing happening, it is a span of 3 years. Robb was “not yet 30″ (Sansa’s thoughts when she looked at his grey streaks in his hair). 

Thank you so much for the lovely compliment. I loved writing Don’t Stop Swaying. It’s the only fic so far I was so passionate about that I would stay up to all hours of the morning when I had to work the next day, just to finish a chapter. I admit I’m proud of it. I faced a lot of adversity and annoyances and bullying when writing it but I ignored it all and persevered. It seems to be a favorite with readers as well despite the theme of an incestuous relationship and all the damn angst in it.

After seeing the infomercial with Nas and his collaboration with the boot company Timberland, speaking about the influence Jazz music had on his rhyme skills, it reminded me of my recent art piece entitled: "Hip Hop iz Jazz". Size : 24x36 Mixed Medium Style: Neo Pop Expressionism Circa 2017 Story behind the painting is basically what it says, the fact that a lot of our top MC's had parents who were Jazz musicians like Nas, Rakim, QTip, etc and because there parents had this skill of music it transferred into the children as Hip Hop. In this piece I'm making the connection thru fashion as well as movie depictions of both genres. Painting entitled "Hip Hop/Jazz Headz" by Kha-Tees circa 2017 24in x 36in Acrylics and oil paint marker Unframed DM for price. Inspired by the Midnight Mauraders album cover by Tribe Called Quest. I wanted to create an abstract painting based on that album cover by using famous hip hop artist and jazz artist faces. I painted with acrylics but made a water color affect to the canvas. I was looking at west African masks as a inspiration for the faces and distorted or enhanced them more. This painting was Created to convey how sound or music could be seen and played at the same time. The Title of the painting comes from a statement that James Brown would tell his band when he wanted his drummer to perform a solo during his set. In the painting on the right side, there is a character playing drums at the same time scratching a record on a turn table, alluding again to the idea that we as a people are multi disciplined as artists. The drummer and DJ idea is a theme in my work conveying the idea of making beats thru break beats and literal drum beats. On the left side you see music notes dancing and a bent trumpet bell connecting to Dizzy Gillespie.
