Do you know who you are, when everything you own has been stripped away? When all your material possessions have fallen away?
You are soul. Free-flowing consciousness.
Do not allow your purity, your magic, your light to be buried.
Above all else, beyond all else, you are Soul.
Here's the thing. No matter how many possessions you have, you never feel secure. As soon as you get one thing, there's always something else you "need". And also, you have the added problem of worrying about losing the stuff you already have. Some of the most insecure people I know are multimillionaires. True security can only come from knowing who you are and what you are here to do.
Karen Kingston, Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui
As you work to let go - of things, possessions, beliefs and, perhaps, people - you may experience feelings of being abandoned, of being unloved. That is okay. You are letting go of a part of yourself. That can be scary. That can feel like grief.
Give yourself permission to feel those feelings. Feel them. Express them. Let go of the story that caused them and just be with the experience.
And then let go of them.
For they, too, are what no longer serves you.
And you can journey on without them.
True security lies not in owning things, but in knowing who you are.
Do you resonate?
Give yourself permission to let go of everything that no longer serves you.
Today, at last once I don't say something I feel the urge to blurt out.
DIVINICUS
In the latest installment of Things I Had Not Planned To Do But They Felt Right So Now I'm Doing Them, I'm attending the Openhand Divinicus, an 8-day (online) retreat, starting tomorrow.
I've done the course before, four years ago. I am now a very different person and I'm super curious what doing it again now will be like. Very excited and also, of course, a little anxious. But that's pretty normal for Openhand work. 😉
Experience says it's going to be incredibly intense, so I likely will go silent for the duration and not post at all. Or maybe not, maybe I'll have tons of things to share! Could go either way. 😊
See you on the other side! 😊💜
