Supreme

Not everything has to be all la-dee-da and honkey dorey. For what is fine cuisine without spice? Just food. Sometimes we need the dark. We need the sin. We need the contrast because the very fairy tale of life is the light using darkness to create but yet these two natures exist as one the higher up you go.

Now tell me who is powerful enough to break up the romance between darkness and light? It is he who embraces all that embodies the concept of a Supreme Being in the flesh. It is he who entertains unorthodox concepts that allows the light within him to create his own self-sustaining path. It is he who courts curiosity and at the end of the day, stands in the face of darkness and says “thank you. It was fun but I’d rather the light”. It is he who has found an anchor within that travels through the dimensions to surpass this world.

No one dares to tempt, touch or cross this man. Even the waters and the winds respect him because in the micro world of frequency, the atoms know that this man operates at a very high one. For he writes his story as he lives it. This is the one whom society once gave titles such as “the messiah” or “a Buddha” to meaning that he/she was a Supreme Being in the flesh.

I told him that I am a genius and he scoffed. I looked at him with what must have been a dead expression because the spirit within peered out and told him, "what makes me a genius has absolutely nothing to do with my intelligence clearly displayed before you. It is my ability to tap into the quantum field from which the ideas come from that makes me a genius."

Turning tides

I feel inspired in this moment after watching Princess Nokia’s talk at Brown University. It was healing in a number of ways. She validated so many aspects of my experience in the truths she found within herself. I’m not completely sure what this blog will be used for but I want to use it as a safe space of vulnerability and art. I only hope my own fear and inhibitions do not impede me in this space. I love to write. I love to speak. I love to create. I perpetually feel hampered in my expression because I’m frequently attempting to make the people around me understand me, instead of moving forward in my expression and deepening my understanding of self. I want this blog to be a personal documentation of healing. At times it may be a bit whiny and perhaps even display my insecurity, but it will also be empowering, beautiful, and honest. It will be this way because I cannot afford to shy away from coming to face facets of my reality that I pretend do not exist or that I fear exist within me. I owe this to myself out of love for myself for I do not understand why I ought to feel shame to admit that sometimes I feel broken. Why should I feel shame that I am passionate, sensitive, and emotional or that there is depth few tolerate but even fewer understand. My life has been marred by beautiful tragedy. Why should I hide who I am just because it makes you uncomfortable, because it makes you feel?
