This is some of the goofiest shit I’ve ever seen
I decided to do some self loathing internet scrolling through the worst website on the internet (conservapedia) and-
How did they make the concept and existence of DARK MATTER in science political
How did they make Video Games political
The only normal article is a heavily biased description of Chess with all of it's strategies. There's probably a few political things there but I ain't reading it
They hate Dungeons & Dragons, this feels like satire at this point >XD
Bad News: Trans people can't naturally double jump :(
HOW DID THEY MAKE E=MC2 POLITICAL
How are they both pro-america and pro-russia and pro democracy
holy shit elon musk made unironic conservapedia this is so fucking funny
the conservapedia description of gotham is so funny actually
What the heck is this blog? (Rules/FAQ)
It's a parody of a notorious screenshot from the website Conservapedia (attached below). Let me say this again: this blog is a parody. A joke. Don't take it too seriously.
While the fact that it's parodying Conservapedia (an ultra-conservative website) makes this blog a little political, this blog is also non-partisan.
With that clarified, let's lay the rules for this blog:
Be funny, or at the very least, try to be funny.
I post once a day at most. Be patient if your "infamous liberal" isn't immediately posted.
Submit "infamous liberals" through the "Ask me anything" button.
Only submit one "infamous liberal" at a time!
Before submitting an "infamous liberal," search my previous posts to make sure they're not already posted.
When submitting "infamous liberals," tell me what they're from; for fictional characters, this means telling me the work name as well. If you don't specify what they're from, I'll assume it's real life (unless I know for sure that they aren't, but don't test my knowledge of fiction).
I have the right to not post any character I don't want to post for whatever reason I feel like. However, I trust that this website's suggestions won't completely suck, so I'll probably submit most of them.
If you don't get a response from me immediately, then your suggestion is most likely in a queue and saved for later.
If anyone would like to volunteer to co-run this blog with me (so it can run if and/or when I, personally, am inactive), then just ask me through the "Ask me anything" button and I'll consider it.
This list may be altered in the future as more issues arise.
FAQ:
(Well, not actually "F" because I don't get questions frequently, as this is a young blog, but you know what I mean.)
Q. "Can I submit fictional characters? Can I submit real people?" A. Yes to both questions, you can submit whoever you want (as long as you're not doxxing anyone). Just clarify which are fictional and which are real.
Q. "Do 'infamous liberals' have to actually be liberals?" A. No, and some of them not being liberals is actually part of the joke.
Q. "Do they have to not be liberals?" A. No, some of them can be actual liberals. It'll be funnier if we have a mix of liberals and non-liberals.
Gotham Conservapedia Ridiculousness (Analysis of Homophobic Warnings 🤨) 🏳️🌈😂
I saw that there's a weird website with a page on conservative warnings/reviews thanks to @memesandmusicalss 's post
Spoilers for up to season 3 & non-explicit ones about how canon Ed x Oswald is):
Here's what I find especially hilarious(ly sad)/ironic about these "warnings":
•the author completely forgot/ignored that before Nygmobblepot, Barbara Kean was with Renee Montoya, even before she became a villain
•Since it's said that the show turned into a "homosexual propaganda" in season 3, Barbara and Tabitha were apparently never an item either, or their very sensual kissing doesn't count as propaganda. Maybe it's not gay if one occasionally has a boyfriend? 🤔
•Lucius and Ed's relationship, which is full of gay tension, is completely ignored too...or given a free pass because these two are too good together 😉
•Despite Barbara being described as bi & the author(s) thus knowing that sexuality exists, Ed is interpreted as only attracted to men while in the show he's clearly been attracted to women: conservatiness made him gayer! 🤣🏳️🌈
•The show never explicitly said he was attracted to men either, but it seems the author's on our side, fellow Ed x men shippers 🥳🤗. Something homophobes are actually good for: agreeing with us that the queerbaited, never explicitly queer characters are in fact queer. 🥳🤝
•Nygmobblepot is seen as propaganda when the actual show criticized their relationship so much & made them hate/dislike each other nearly all the time. But of course for them, the bad part isn't the possessiveness or jealousy, it's the gayness *shaking my head*
•There's no praise of Ed being the perfect house wife! As if they don't see him as a role model (for women) 🙃😂
LMFAOOO conservapedia what is this 😭
