For this #TravelTuesday watch and learn from conservation #wildographer & guide @jamessuter & crew! People don’t often understand how lions can become habituated to vehicles. This is a learned behaviour and the animals realise over time that the vehicles do not pose any threat to them. This allows us in many parts of Africa to view animals in their natural environment without interfering with their behaviour - such as animals hunting prey, sleeping or protecting their young. In this case we were viewing young lions that were rather inquisitive - this is unusual behaviour but the guide and tracker did an amazing job of remaining calm and keeping still.
