THINGS TO REMEMBER ABOUT MY DAMON:
001 / italian accent - Damon has an italian accent which isn’t always strong but sometimes it escapes more than others. his english accent IS NOT AMERICAN . since he was born and raised in Europe and spent most of his time there his accent resembles a bit the british one and not the american one. though it does not mean Damon downright talks like someone from London but he has spent a lot of his time in England and in London specifically so he chooses the british pronouncination and spelling.
002 / his style - the books and the show present Damon as your local bad boy with the leather jacket and the jeans. THAT IS NOT DAMON’S CASE. he was born in a NOBLE HOUSEHOLD in renaissance florence. back then people wore layers and layers of clothes and from the most expensive fabric to show their wealth. this is a mentality Damon grew up with and therefore you will often see him in suits (not in the most formal ones also no ties), or you will see him in expensive clothes in general. he likes textures on clothes and he likes colours. he likes coats and he will rarely wear a basic leather jacket style with simple jeans. he also loves RINGS that are made by gold and silver. to this day, he likes to put time in his style, the way he presents himself. to this day he likes to show off HIS WEALTH.
003 / damon is too good in control - the show might give the impression that he has a break down every two minutes but in the books his control was a big part of him. the moment he turned he already had his thirst under control. Damon never had trouble controlling his needs. he is very comfortable with himself. he is comfortable with his feelings and just doing what he wants and needs. he has no guilt and remorse about them which causes him to have such an amazing control over himself.
