I realize your post about Neopets was a while ago now, but I was wondering if you ever saw/tried Subeta? It’s a pet site that was made by a disenchanted Neopets player many years ago, that also has a really neat “human avatar” system to play with and genuinely friendly forums! Just wanted to mention it in case you were wanting an alternative pet-site ;w; (Also I really love your art and characters! So pretty 💕)

Oh my god Subeta!!!! It has suggested to me a few times throughout the years- it really seems like everything Neopets lacks (pets with updated art, website is maintained, flash isn’t a big broken deal, economy is maybe less inflated? 🥺) but I always got cold feet and put it out of my mind because the customization options seemed to be sooo much deeper (PLUS avatar customization) that I would completely hyperfocus on it and get nothing done ever again.... 😭😭

But y’know... since I’ve been vaguely masochistically debating getting back into Neopets and doggedly saving enough for a ton of paintbrushes for the next several years, it couldn’t hurt to maybe consider Subeta too. 🤔 Thank you for reminding me!!!
