Is it weird that the shock of Hairu's death is only now hitting me? I was alright when the spoilers were coming out, but now I had the chance to go over the chapter again at my pace it's like HAIRU!!! IS! DEAD!! Decapitated! She was only 20!! WHAT!?!?! CCG's beautiful cherry blossom... *cries*

No it’s not weird. The spoilers were pretty hectic and they were out of context, but reading it in the chapter and seeing her flashback of Arima and just how quickly everything ended. That makes everything really hit home. And it was so unexpected. She was a top investigator and extremely skilled and she was so young and had so much potential, and it just took one misstep in a puddle of blood to throw her off, and then it was over so fast. We barely knew her. ;______;
