I was just thinking of The Great Vowel Shift because I'm a fucking nerd that originally tried to major in etymologist.

And then... I thought...

"Hewwo? Mistah Pwesident?"

Is... Is uwu speak... "Consonant Shift"?

These sort of thoughts are why I did not succeed in college.

Do thorn-fronting dialects merge deaf and Beth? and tile and pile? and terves and pervs?

(I know they merge ð with v and þ with f, so I wonder if they merge d with b and t with p.)
