@gatorfisch really is starting to act like Aeltri by seeing conspiracies everywhere.

Whoever sent this asks hasn't read the book. The Kit that's refered to in the book is Christopher Marlow, a playwrite and friend of Shakespeare. As for the Hal charater, I don't remember him, but it was a very common name in Tudor England. Something that's very easy to verify. The Benedictines are a monastical order and means blessed in latin.

Are the haters stupid enough to think a writer would change the names of his characters just to please the guy who bought the rights to his book? By the look of it, they are. And heaven forbid Matt Haigh should thank the people who'll bring his novel to screen. Specially when the rights were bought before the book was published.
