Before getting the Mosin, I originally thought about getting the High Point carbine.
The High Point is a fun plinker, easy to take down and looks relatively simple to customize and deck out if you wanted to.
Personally speaking, I had fun shooting it, but if I wanted to go plinking with a semi-auto I'd be more likely to take my Norinco SKS over the High Point. I'm flat out unaccustomed to the 'tactical' style and didn't spend the time to adjust it to make it comfortable for me personally.

In addition to that post... I feel like this is a very unpopular opinion, but I've noticed its appearance a lot lately, but I feel like the word "inspirational" is thrown around a lot lately.
tbh i haven't even noticed, myself. i mean idk. some people get inspired by odd things but for the most part I try not to judge on that much. *SHRUG*
