My throat is killing me rn

I had a cold recently (in fucking August but that’s a whole other can of worms) and my voice became absolute shit. I was barely able to say more than 10 words before having a coughing fit and any sound that was able to come out of my throat was really rough.

so all my friends were having a kick out of hearing me talk, especially when I tried (key word: tried) to exclaim :’I sound like a boy going through puberty!’ while my voice was cracking and going up and down like a fucking roller coaster

but one of them looked at me in the eyes and said that I sounded like a 45 y/o southern mom that’s been smoking for 40 years, doesn’t know where her children are, and MTV is thinking about giving her a show she would absolutely watch

6 months ago I had this chest infection, crazy cough and sore throat and now it decides to appear again.

I really hate being sick. Hurts like a motherfuck. And it all started a week ago when that asshole sat next to me on the bus, coughing in my direction without covering his fucking mouth. Seriously, does he not know that it's common courtesy to cough away from people, and to cover your fucking mouth?! FUCK my throat hurts so damn badly, waking up in tears from coughing so much, damn. I almost feel like I've been smoking for years or something and am suffering for it.
