Claire strolled in after settling Domino down in the stalls. Today was a big day afterall. 18:19
Angela is pretty nervous about today, and after checking in on the horse she rented, headed into the main square. 18:20
Claire: Hey Angela! You've joined the races too? 18:25
Angela: Claire! Yeah... I rented a horse. Seemed like a good idea. 18:26
Claire: Hey! You might even win the lucky guy if you win this race, haha! 18:29
Angela: Wait, what? 18:29
Claire waves over to the silver haired stranger coming in. He seemed a bit out of place but, pffft, weren't they all? 18:29
Sanjay joined the chat 18:29

Claire: I heard that if you win this race with a rented horse, you'll be able to keep the rented horse for yourself! 18:30
Claire welcomes the newcomers in with a bright smile. "Hey guys? Are you here to race, too?" 18:30
Angela: Oh! Well... that's pretty cool. Um, hey guys. 18:31
Sanjay walks inside after settling in Snow into his stall. On the inside he was rather nervous since he had only recently adopted the snow-white horse. 18:31
Lillian nods. "Yeah. They did something weird to my horse though! They dyed her fur with red stripes or something??" 18:31
Freya: "Hello," she greeted with a small smile. "Yes, though I don't know how this works." 18:33
Sanjay answered, "Yes, I am here to race. I have not raced before, so I am rather nervous about my performance." 18:34
Angela sighs. "Join the club."
Claire chuckles at everyone, who all look like deer in headlights. 16:06
Freya let out a small sigh of relief after noticing she's not the only newbie. 16:06
Sanjay smiled politely at the group, hoping that he would not intrude on their conversation. 16:06
Claire: Yeah, its my first time racing officially as well, but we'll all do fine guys!
Claire: So what are your horses names? Naming a horse is the first step to getting your head in the game, heh. 16:08
Lillian: "I've never raced before, Hopefully I do well~!" 16:08
Lillian laughs. "My horse is named Nutmeg." 16:08
Angela: I named mine Bolt, original, huh? 16:08
Sanjay: "My horse's name is Snow." 16:10
Freya looked over at her oddly colored horse. "Razzleberry." 16:10
Claire claps her hands together, "We've got the best mix of names around here, snrk. Mine's Domino!"
Claire: Razzleberry....? 16:11
Lillian: "..I thought my horse's name was very creative..." She looks down and frowns. 16:11
Angela: That's- a new one... 16:12
Sanjay smiled at Freya, "Your horse's name is rather creative." His voice held no sarcasm or insults. He was impressed. 16:13
Claire looks over to the horse stalls and stares at the rainbow dyed horses. Welp. 16:14
Freya: "The name has a rather long and interesting story." 16:14
Freya: "Thank you." 16:14
Angela: "Sure as hell sounds like it." 16:15
Claire: Ahhh... I like all your names though! I'm sure there's some explanation behind every one.
Lillian was silent for a moment. ".....All of my animals are named after food..." 18:46
Sanjay wonders why the horse race runners wanted to dye Snow's hair. 18:46
Claire scratches the back of her head. "All of mine were named at random. The poor souls.." 18:47
Claire: I really hope you can wash that dye off though. Unless you guys like neon horses, haha! 18:48
Angela: "How long until the race starts?" 18:48
Angela internally sighs at her neon horse
Sanjay: "I am sure the dye will wash off. I am sure that they did not make the dye permanent," Sanjay spoke, hoping that this was true. 16:19
Freya: "I'll feel bad for my horse if it doesn't." 16:20
Lillian sighed. "Same..." 16:20
Lillian: "Who would dye them though??" 16:20
Angela: "No fucking idea..." 16:20
Claire: I guess it'll be easier for people to watch from the stands? 16:21
Sanjay: "Perhaps they wished for the horses to stand out more?" Sanjay suggested. 16:21
Claire snorts quietly before rolling her eyes.

Lillian: ...maybe... 18:56
Claire blinks at the new blonde guy that strides in. "Hey there! Are you joining the race too? Or just watching?" 18:58
Micah walks around curiously as this is the first horse festival he attends at. "Wow, look at all the Horses. 18:58
Claire: "Ahh... I'm getting ahead of myself, as usual! The name's Claire Wright, for all of you who don't know me." 18:58
Sanjay bows, "I am Sanjay. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." 18:59
Angela laughs to herself. "I'm Angela, call me Ange if you want." 19:00
Micah He smiles and shakes his head "No, i don't have a horse. Oh the names Micah by the way! Nice to meet you all!"
Micah: "I'm just here to watch, it's my first time seeing so many horses at once too!" 19:02
Freya: "I'm Freya. It's a pleasure to meet you all." 19:06
Lillian: "I'm Lillian, Labelle. Pleased to make your acquaintance~" 19:12
Claire: "It's a pleasure, guys!" Claire glanced at the clock, wondering when the game's would begin... 19:18
Micah He gives a nod "Likewise." and turns to look at the horses. "Ah, some are oddly colored though?" There was no malice in his voice, just curiosity 19:18
Angela: "Eh, we were just going over that." 19:18
Lillian: "just pay no attention to it..." 19:18
Angela: "We think they were dyed maybe, no one really knows." 19:19
Claire: "Yeah I just think it's kind of funny, but it's some odd prank for sure." 19:19
Claire: "I heard they're just waiting on two racers now..." Maybe they'd move on without the two? 19:20
Micah: "Such an odd prank indeed." 19:20
Angela: "Who's missing?" 19:20
Claire: "Two people named Mark and Katarina apparently? Does anyone know those two?" 19:21
Angela shakes her head 19:21
Freya shakes her head 19:21
Sanjay: "I do not know either of them," Sanjay answered. 19:21
Micah he has this look of familiarity on his face as soon as he heard the names 19:23
Micah: "I know them, Kats my friend and Mark..."
Micah he glanced to the side looking embarassed as he remembers his 'first impression' "I know someone named Mark too ..y-yeah..." 19:24
Claire smiled at Micah curiously. "Oh? So did you come to watch the both of them?" 19:24
Micah he nodded as a shy smile appeared on his face "Yeah.. " 19:25
Sanjay smiled at Micah. It must be nice to have friends like him. 19:27
Neil joined the chat 19:29
Neil shifted himself to the back of the gathering crowd. 19:29
Angela: "Oh hey, someone else joined. Hi." 19:32
Micah noticed the man who passed by and went to the back. He turns to face the man named Sanjay to ask. "Is he a racer too?" 19:33
Sanjay looked over at Neil and back towards Micah, "I believe he is." 19:34
Sanjay approached Neil with a smile on his face, "Hello, Mr. Neil. Are you participating in the race as well?" 19:34
Micah also approached the man and with a smile on his face greeted him "Hello there."
Neil stoically looks at the two that came up to him.. "...Hmph. Hey, Sanjay. And... uh.." He stares at the blonde stranger. 19:38
Neil nodded in acknowledgement to the brunette in the back. 19:39
Angela gives him a small wave. 19:39
Neil: "Yeah... I signed up a while back. Was hanging out in the front... Why hasn't the race started again, tch." 19:39
Micah: "Micah... The names Micah. Nice to meet you!" He smiled. 19:40
Sanjay: "Two of the racers appear to be missing," Sanjay answered, "I believe we are waiting for them to arrive."
Neil tilts his head in a quiet greeting. "Hey, Micah... I'm Neil, if you just drop the Mr." 17:20
Neil: "...Sanjay tends to be too formal about these things." 17:20
Micah: "Alright, Nice to meet you Niel!" 17:21
Neil eyes the clock. "Damn. I'm getting mighty impatient with these no shows.."
Lillian snaps out of daydream. "Huh? are we starting yet???" 19:53
Micah he was getting worries too, what was taking those two so long...? 19:53
Angela sighs. "Shouldn't there be a timeframe for us to wait or something?" 19:53
Claire: *DING DING* THE RACES ARE ABOUT TO BEGIN SOON. PLEASE GET TO YOUR HORSES, RACERS. 19:54
Micah waves at all of the racers "Goodluck to you guys!" 19:55
Angela makes her way over to Bolt, and she feels like her heart is stuck in her throat. She hops on and pets him. "We'll do great."
Sanjay: "The best of luck to everyone," Sanjay spoke with a bow before walking over to Snow. He began to feel his heart pound, though he did not know why. 19:55
Sanjay pets Snow and gives a kind smile to his horse before he gets on. 19:57
Freya walked over to Razzleberry and pet him, "It's finally starting." She began to get butterflies in her stomach. 19:57
Claire: "Good luck everyone! And don't worry Micah, it seems as though they're going to get some extra people to ride Kat and Mark's horses for them since they've missed their cue!" 19:58
Lillian walks over to Nutmeg and hugs her. "There there Meggie, It'll be okay, we'll get the red washed out of your mane when we're done..." 19:58
Micah nods and smiles "Alright, But still Goodluck to all of you!!!" 19:59
Claire nods to Micah with a friendly smile. Strolling over to Domino, she mentally prepared herself for the race.
Neil: "....Hmph." And Neil was off. 20:00
Claire: *DING DING* The first round has finished! Lillian's horse has pulled up into the lead while Jamie, Neil and Angela are lagging behind!
Claire: *DING DING* The second round has finished! Liilian and Sanjay are in the lead!
Claire: *DING DING* Third round is done! Lillian takes a clear lead as Sanjay and Freya follow in pursuit!
Claire: *DING DING* Fourth and fifth rounds are done! Everyone seemed to slow down a bit, only to surge forward!
Claire: *DING DING* Sixth round is over! There has been an unexpected turnabout for all the racers!
Claire: *DING DING* Seventh and eighth rounds are over! Sanjay, Angela and Freya pull through for the victories with Claire tailing behind by just a little... 20:24
