I don't know, that doesn't seem possible because some individuals in Japan streetpass maybe 30 people per day.  I streetpass my family every day (4 or 5 street passes depending if I get both of my mom's towns) and have never noticed the amount of items selling for a premium go up.

Someone who often streetpasses needs to conduct a study. haha
