Constellation Class from Star Trek Online
USS Stargazer, "The Battle"
fleet over Andoria
(commission)
The US Navy has done it again! After yet another poorly executed, overpriced and underwhelming warship design program, in the end the Navy downright killed it rather than attempting to save it.
Now the Constellation class joins the LCS and the Zumwalt classes as proof that the US Navy can no longer handle any sort of surface combatant procurement program, while at the same time pushing the Arleight Burke destroyers to their absolute physical limits with this aberration of an upgrade
And let’s not forget, the navy also decided to retire the remaining Ticonderoga cruisers, even those which recently were modernized, further wasting more money desperately needed to keep fleet numbers up.
Man, what happened to the US Navy that dominated the seas since WW2 with both numbers and quality?
