why was it that we were born to suffer, why why why is it that we are mortal and imperfect and know pain and heartbreak and sorrow? how could a singular god have created us like this? how could an entire pantheon benefited from such flawed creatures? how could it be evolutionarily sound to rip our hearts out of our chests because someone smiled at us the right way? how could atoms have arranged just so to be receptacles to maddness? it seems unsound at best, unjustified, unbelievable, unfair that there are cries that will never be heard and torment that will never be realized. people have to live with the pain of loss and the pain of having what one never wants to have, all while other people try to tell them it's all for a reason all part of a plan for salvation or punishment or whatever you are in the mood for. it completely astounds me, and what is even more devastating is that i'll write this and tomorrow continuing living the tragedy of humanity.
